This weekend Abby got upset that she wasn't going to be able to see one of her school friends. This particular friend happen to be a boy. This is the conversation that follows.
Daddy: "Is Evan your boyfriend?"
Gabriel: " Yeah, is Evan your boyfriend."
Abby is still sniffling.
Gabriel asks a couple of more times and then Daddy tells him that maybe now is not the time to tease his sister.
Mommy: "Gabriel, do you have any girlfriends?"
Gabriel (grinning): "No."
Mommy: "Do you like any girls?"
Gabriel: "Yeah, 3."
Daddy: "That's my boy."
Mommy: "What are there names."
Gabriel: "Jason, Bailey, and Blaine."
Mommy starts rolling with laughter. Matt says, "He just didn't understand the question."

Sweet innocence. He's at the stage where you can inoculate him against homophobia or train him to vote for the future equivalents of California's Proposition 8.
I mainly thought it was funny because of Matt's response. I agree that he probbly didn't understand or didn't hear that we said girl.
I wonder if he considers them girls?:-p
