Abby Update

Abby with through her surgery just fine. Her appointment was a 8:00 and we were home by 10:00 Tuesday morning. She slept fitfully throughout the day and that night. She drank in order to go home from the surgery center but refused to drink or take her medicine once we got home. Anything that went into her mouth was promptly spit out or held in her mouth until she could spit it out. By 1:00 on Wednesday things started getting better. My mother was able to get her to drink some water and then she was interested in trying to eat a little too. I was finally able to get her to take some tylenol and her antibiotic by that night. Today she is still doing better and has even begun to fight with her brother. She wanted to go to school today but I felt she needed a couple more days of rest. She is really looking forward to being back at school next week. Just in time for the Christmas program on Wednesday. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.
