In Memory of...

William "Bill" Flavil Steele

On Saturday morning my uncle died completely unexpectedly, he was 67. He died from a blood clot after surgery to his shoulder. I am writing this in memory of my uncle. He was a man who had a heart of gold. He was a loving, kind and generous man. He seemed to always have a laugh or a smile to share with you. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was also a fisherman. He loved being out on the lake with his fishing pole and a friend. Uncle Bill was my father's best friend and fishing buddy. They talked almost every week. My dad is missing his brother dearly. Uncle Bill loved my kids and they him. He would always ask how they were and when he was going to get to see them again whenever I spoke with him. My kids loved going to see Uncle Bill and Aunt Myrna. They would often ask if we were going to go to see them whenever we were in town visiting with my parents. They loved Uncle Bill and Aunt Myrna. Uncle Bill will be missed dearly by his wife, his children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. We love you Uncle Bill and would like to picture you on a lake with Granny and Papa who both shared your love of fishing.

These pictures were from Labor Day weekend. Uncle Bill went for a boat ride with us and helped the kids to catch a couple of fish. It was a great day!

We love you! Have fun fishing!
