These Are My Jeans

Last night we were talking to Gabe about how easily Matt can do large addition problems in his head with no trouble at all. And how I have a much harder time. I told Gabriel that the addition and subtraction problems he was working on would get easier with practice. I made the comment "Not only do you have my genes you also have Daddy's so I know you can do this." Gabe looks down pulls on his jeans and says, "These are my jeans mom." When then had to try and explain the difference between "genes" and "jeans."
