We celebrated Gabriel's birthday on Saturday with a few friends (9). With most of the parents staying we had a very full house. Gabriel's theme this year was Buzz Lightyear. We found and purchased space helmets for every child. Gabe's daddy, Uncle Doug and Uncle Danny turn a box into a great space ship. Besides that we had games like, the claw game (I used a gift bag and filled it with trinkets then the kids used tongs to grab a prize), we had a army man hunt (similar to an Easter egg hunt but with Army men hidden), and then knock Zurg down with the ball (I had cut out and colored pictures of Zurg onto soda cans). Other activities we had were decorate your gift bag and the pinata. And of course we had pizza (pizza planet of course) and cake. Everyone seemed to have a great time and the kids went home with full goody bag and it made Gabriel's day. I am really glad we were able to give him such a good birthday party.
